Snack Set-Up and Clean-Up

The parent helper who brings the snack is in charge of snack set-up. The parent helper who brings the fruit shall organize the children in hand washing and assist the teacher with group time.

Set-Up:
Wash the tables with bleach water.
Set out napkins and cups.
Set out snack; two to three serving plates per table.
Set out water; one pitcher, half full per table.
Set out bucket and sponge for spills.
The parent helpers work together, as time allows, on clean up.

Clean-Up:
Wash tables.
Wash water pitchers in hot soapy water.
Put away snack utensils.

Room Clean Up

The parent helpers will remain after school from 11:30 to approximately 12 noon for daily clean up.

Daily:
Vacuum and sweep room.
Empty bathroom trash into large trashcan (leave plastic liners in the waste baskets).
Clean bathroom sink, toilet and floor.
Clean up and put away all art supplies (e.g., paint and brushes).
Put away large motor equipment in basement.
Assist in other duties as directed by the teacher.

Friday:
Mop all floors.
Sanitize the bathroom.
